A DOCKS employee who threw a bottle at police through the Rangers title celebrations has prevented jail.

Graeme Conners, 38, claimed he dedicated the crime to deliver consideration to a girl he believed was being manhandled by officers.

Conners was ordered to do 120 hours of unpaid work.
