WPC is positioned in Faculty Park, MD, inside the NOAA Heart for Climate and Local weather Prediction (NCWCP). The NCWCP is a extremely collaborative setting containing a number of NOAA organizations, together with the Environmental Modeling Heart (EMC), Ocean Prediction Heart (OPC), and Local weather Prediction Heart (CPC). This place requires the incumbent to carry out novel analysis, transition analysis initiatives to operations, function Principal Investigator (PI) on funded initiatives, supervise staff, and collaborate with exterior companions.
