Lewis Capaldi exams wrist system confirmed to scale back tics in individuals with Tourette’s


A SMART watch-like system examined by singer Lewis Capaldi has been discovered to scale back tics in individuals with Tourette syndrome.

The system stimulates the median nerve — which controls motor capabilities within the forearm, wrist and hand.

Contributors used the Neupulse, which is worn on the wrist, for quarter-hour at an analogous time every day for a month — and gave suggestions.

The trial of 121 individuals within the UK discovered that, on common, they skilled a 25 per cent discount within the frequency of tics.
