Brigid has been accused by the Queen Of The Fairies of being an adjunct to her mom’s homicide. She has till midsummer’s eve to fill a chest with gold and a chest with blood to appease the queen. Brigid is engaged on the chest of gold, placing her job as a scullery maid in a big home to good use. However the chest of blood is more durable to fill.
With a ghost speaking in her head and her fairy powers mistakenly shared with a mortal, Brigid hops from one potential catastrophe to a different on this enjoyable and magical story. I appreciated this galloping journey with its fairy lore and Irish allure, and might fairly fortunately advocate it.
