đŸŒșInformation From My Hampshire Backyard As We Head Into April. #SixOnSaturday #GardeningTwitter #GardeningMakesMeHappy🐞

As March blew out with some sturdy winds, will April be stuffed with Spring showers?

I’ve a really blended bunch of things for you this week.

First photograph goes to those Glistening Inkcaps which have popped up in a nook of the backyard. The highest left one within the nook of the photograph has been nibbled by slugs and I believe it appears like an alien.

Second photograph is of the wildlife pond that we’re engaged on. I’m very enthusiastic about it. The current rain has been filling up the pond and we are going to quickly kind out the edging to cover the liner. I went forward and purchased my first pond crops; I’ve a water hawthorn which is already flowering, 2 tiny fringed water lilies, some pond weed, Marestail, Water Overlook-me-not, Marsh Marigold, Dwarf Spearwort, Nice Spearwort, Brookline, Upright Water Milfoil, Marsh Pennywort and a few Ragged Robin for the sting.

Third photograph is of two tiny pink Pulmonaria flowers surviving after the badger has been trampling the flower mattress.

Photograph 4 goes to the Overlook-me-nots that are simply beginning to flower.

I noticed this ladybird on the Rock Roses – hopefully she’s discovered some tasty aphids.

Last photograph goes to a tiny Violet, I do love these fairly unassuming flowers.
